Hier gibt es eine Übersicht zu wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen der Behandlung  mit Anthroposophischer Kunsttherapie. Diese richten sich insbesondere an Ärzt*innen, Vertreter*innen angrenzender Berufe und Krankenkassen sowie an Studierende und ebenso an interessierte Patient*innen und Angehörige, die sich über den Stand der Forschung anhand der Zusammenfassung der Originalliteratur informieren wollen.

Forschungsergebnisse zur Anthroposophischen Kunsttherapie

In den letzten 20 Jahren hat die internationale Forschung zur Anthroposophischen Kunsttherapie zugenommen, sodass eine wachsende Anzahl fundierter wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten als klinische Studien, Fallstudien und Studien aus der Versorgungsforschung zusammengeführt werden kann.
Mit ihren Fachbereichen Plastik, Malerei, Musik und Sprachgestaltung findet die Anthroposophische Kunsttherapie Anwendung bei Menschen aller Lebensalter. Stationär wird sie in zahlreichen somatischen, psychosomatischen und psychiatrischen Fachabteilungen von der Neonatologie bis zur Paliativmedizin eingesetzt.

In der ambulanten Versorgung werden die Therapien überwiegend als Einzelmaßnahme verordnet aber auch im Rahmen der Integrierten Versorgung  mit Anthroposophischer Medizin. Daher liegen klinische Studien im Kontext multimodaler Behandlungen zusammen mit anderen Therapien der Anthroposophischen Medizin vor und als spezifische Studien nur zur Anthroposophischen Kunsttherapie.

Aus der ambulanten und stationären Versorgung liegen wissenschaftliche Nachweise vor für die vorherrschend positiven Effekte bei den folgenden chronischen Erkrankungen:

  • Affektive Störungen (16, 14)
  • Angststörungen (2, 3, 16, 19)
  • Erschöpfung (16)
  • Krankheiten des Nervensystems (16, 17)
  • Bösartige Neubildungen (16)
  • Asthma bronchiale (6, 16, 18)
  • Migräne (23)
  • Chronische Schmerzen bei Postpolio Syndrom (10)
  • Stress bei Frühgeborenen und ihren Müttern (28)
  • Erschöpfung bei Brustkrebsüberlebenden (4, 25)
  • Palliativ-Behandlung bei Krebs (22, 23)

Mit Anthroposophischer Kunsttherapie und Eurythmietherapie bei Kindern und Jugendlichen im Alter von 1–16 Jahren mit chronischen Erkrankungen wurden unter Alltagsbedingungen in der ambulanten Versorgung nachhaltige Verbesserungen erreicht bei den folgenden Diagnosen:

  • Verhaltens- und emotionale Störungen mit Beginn in der Kindheit und Jugend (17)
  • Entwicklungsstörungen (17)
  • Hyperkinetische Störungen (17)
  • Nicht näher bezeichnete Harninkontinenz (16)
  • Asthma bronchiale (18)

Evaluationen zur Wirtschaftlichkeit der Behandlungen mit Anthroposophischer Medizin (einschließlich Anthroposophischer Kunsttherapie) belegen, dass bei der Behandlung chronischer Erkrankungen im 1. Behandlungsjahr keine Mehrkosten entstanden und im Folgejahr eine deutliche Kostensenkung gegenüber dem Jahr vor der Studienteilnahme eintrat, wobei die Anzahl der Krankenhausaufenthalte signifikant zurückging (15, 20, 30).

Neben Erkenntnissen zur wissenschaftlichen Evidenz liegen Ergebnisse zur Weiterentwicklung von Verfahren zur Diagnostik (11, 12) und Dokumentation (1, 13) sowie zu bestimmten Methoden (5, 7, 9, 24, 26) und Anwendungen in multimodalen Settings (27, 29) zur Versorgungsverbesserung vor. Sie zeigen, dass sich der Nutzen von Behandlungen nicht nur in klinischen Studien bewährt, sondern auch die Orientierung an Wünschen und Bedürfnissen der Patient*innen eine wichtige Rolle spielt (32) und hohe Patientenzufriedenheit mit der individuell ausgerichteten anthroposophisch-medizinischen Versorgung besteht (30, 31, 33, 34).

Weitere Studien evaluieren die Anthroposophische Kunsttherapie im Kontext neuer Versorgungsmodelle z.B. in multimodalen integrativen Therapiekonzepten zusammen mit einer Vielzahl von Nicht-Pharmazeutischen Interventionen (NPI) im Bereich der Anthroposophischen Medizin (27, 29).
